My Career
Dr. Ahmed Yousef is an internationally trained consultant urologist with more than 15 years of comprehensive clinical, surgical, and academic experience across Europe, Asia, and Africa. His career spans major university hospitals, specialized centers, and private practices, giving him a uniquely broad perspective on modern urological care.
Currently, Dr. Yousef serves as a Consultant Urologist at Klinikum Weiden in Germany, where he provides advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services with a strong focus on endourology, minimally invasive surgery, functional urology, uro-oncology, and men’s health. His clinical practice integrates precision, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making.
Dr. Yousef completed extensive postgraduate training, including a Clinical and Research Fellowship at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar, Technical University of Munich, one of Germany’s leading academic institutions. His research there focused on the clinical relevance of the PI3K–MVAC pathway in bladder cancer, strengthening his foundation in oncological urology and molecular medicine.
Throughout his career, he has held senior positions, including multiple Oberarzt (Consultant/Senior Physician) roles in Germany, Egypt, India, and Saudi Arabia. His experience includes high-volume endourological procedures (URS, RIRS, PCNL), BPH interventions such as TURP and Aquablation, reconstructive urology, infertility and andrology, and robotic-assisted surgery techniques.
Dr. Yousef is actively engaged in scientific work and has contributed numerous abstracts and manuscripts to respected conferences and journals, including the EAU, ESGURS/ESAU, MMISU Congress, African Journal of Urology, and the International Journal of Molecular Sciences. His academic portfolio reflects a commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and advancing the field of urology.
